HS Band 

Lee Schneider - Rock Valley HS Band Director 

Lee received her Bachelor’s in Music Education and her Master’s in Clarinet Performance from the University of South Dakota where she studied clarinet under the direction of Dr. Holly Haddad.  During her time at USD, Lee was principal clarinet for the USD wind ensemble for 6 years and was the only student to win the USD concerto competition twice.  Lee has played clarinet with several performing groups in the area such as the Sioux Falls and Sioux City Municipal Bands, Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra, the Dakota Wind Ensemble, and continues to play with LeMars Municipal Band during the summer months.  

Lee currently lives in Hull, Iowa with her husband, Greg, and their golden retriever, Lily.  She is Thankful to be living close to home so that she can spend time with her wonderful and supportive parents, Daryl and Becky Duncanson.
